9Minutes2Fit Begins Today

Today marks the first official day for the "9Minutes2Fit" Class at Zion Lutheran Church. I'll be leading the class from 5:15 till 5:45 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in January and I'm looking forward to working with the wonderful group of people who have taken advantage of this free opportunity to work toward getting or keeping fit.

Participants will learn and experience the basics of my 9Minutes2Fit system plus pick up a number of fitness tips along the way in addition to some faith-related insights to keep in mind as well.

Should be a lot of fun in a short amount of time!

The tricky thing about this is that I am still recovering from my unexpected emergency abdominal surgery in early December! Not to worry though. I use many exercises that can easily be scaled according to ability. Besides, some of the participants are at the very beginner levels of fitness and will hopefully appreciate that fact that, at least for a while, I'll be right there along with them! And for our more advanced folks, our intern, Tim Knuess, will be there to demonstrate the more advanced versions of the moves.

Please keep the class and its leaders in your prayers.

In Christ,
Kent

PS If you're in the area, I would be willing to accept a few more people into this first class. To enroll, send an e-mail to: fitunderthecollar@gmail.com and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the registration and consent forms. Zion is located at 1300 Edgewood Drive, Lima, OH 45805. Come in the North doors and head straight for the gym (Genesis Room).
